In the fall of 2012 NBC debuted a show called “Revolution” after “The Voice” on Monday nights. The drama about a world that has lived without electricity for 15 years performed pretty well in the fall and faded some in the spring, but still did enough for NBC to pick up a second season.
That second season moved to the leadoff spot on Wednesdays. The show never recouped its losses from the back half of Season 1 and was canceled following the 2013-14 season.
Sound familiar? Replace “Revolution” with “Blindspot” and the “world without electricity” to “woman with coded tattoos all over her body” and you’ve got the dilemma “Blindspot” currently faces: After a strong start and a back-half fade last season, the show will have to self-start this season.
Wednesday’s premiere airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT and will get a boost from the “America’s Got Talent” finale. After that, however, it will move to 8 p.m. Vote in the two polls below on how you think “Blindspot” will do both for its premiere and in its first 8 o’clock episode next week.
