“CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD” REMAINS THE #1 SUNDAY MORNING NEWS PROGRAM WITH ADULTS 25-54 AND VIEWERS
CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD remained the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news, and viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for June 14.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.24 million viewers and a 1.1/07 with adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +1% in viewers (from 5.17m) and even in adults 25-54.
Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +1% in viewers (6.04m from 5.96m) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured David Pogue’s report on robots and artificial intelligence; Anthony Mason’s profile of music hit maker Mark Ronson; Mo Rocca’s interview with author George Saunders; Elizabeth Palmer’s look at the devotion to classic American cars in Iran; Conor Knighton’s report on a man who restored and plays a Wurlitzer organ at his California theater; Lee Cowan’s update to his profile of Helen Mirren; and Steve Hartman’s report on a 91-year-old man who became a video sensation driving through a garage door.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
