ABC Monday Prime (8-11pm – 9.6 million and 2.7/8 in AD18-49): With the Season 19 finale of The Bachelor and After the Final Rose, ABC set a new Monday season high in Adults 18-49 with its highest rating on the night in 1 year – since 3/10/14. The Bachelor and After the Final Rose tied as the #2 TV show of the night in Adults 18-49 (2.7/8), behind only NBC’s The Voice, while ranking as Monday’s Top 2 TV shows in Adults 18-34 and Women 18-34. ABC won the night over NBC in Adults 18-34 and key Women (W18-34/W18-49).
The Bachelor (8-10pm – 9.5 million and 2.7/8 in AD18-49): From 8-10pm, ABC’s The Bachelor finale (9.5 million and 2.7/8) built by double digits week to week in Total Viewers (+16%) and Adults 18-49 (+13%) to deliver season highs on both counts. The Bachelor generated ABC’s biggest audience in the slot in 4 months and matched a 1-year high with young adults – since 11/24/14 and 3/10/14, respectively.
The Bachelor: After the Final Rose (10-11pm – 9.6 million and 2.7/8 in AD18-49): Holding 100% of its lead-in at 10pm, ABC’s The Bachelor: After the Final Rose dominated the 10pm hour in Adults 18-49 (2.7/8), beating CBS’ NCIS: LA by 59% (1.7/5) and NBC’s Night Shift by 93% (1.4/4).
