via press release:

NOTE: Post-9 p.m. results are subject to revision in official nationals due to the 9-9:15 p.m. Presidential address.

NBC is the #1 network among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox Tuesday night for each primetime half-hour in adults 18-49, with “America’s Got Talent” clearly #1 for the night on those networks but subject to revision, and “The Million Second Quiz” (1.5 at 8 p.m.) the #2 show on those nets.

At 8 p.m. ET, night two of “The Million Second Quiz” (1.5 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) won the 8-9 p.m. time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key measures.  “Million Second Quiz” grew from half-hour to half-hour in 18-49 by 7% (to a 1.5 from a 1.4), by 20% in men 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.0) and by 50% among men 18-34 (0.9 vs. 0.6).  “Million Second Quiz” finished within 0.2 of a point or 12% of its premiere rating of the prior night (1.5 vs. 1.7) and within 11% of the premiere result in total viewers (5.811 million vs. 6.516 million).

“Million Second Quiz” scored NBC’s best 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period in 12 weeks, since “America’s Got Talent” aired there on June 18.

From 9 p.m. ET to approximately 9:15, NBC News coverage of President Obama’s Address on Syria was sustaining and won’t be included in nightlong or weekly ratings averages.

From approximately 9:15-11:15 p.m. ET, “NBC aired “America’s Got Talent.”  Currently available fast-affiliate ratings are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to significant revision, but currently “Talent” is averaging a 2.3/6 in 18-49 and 9.1 million viewers overall from 9:30-11 p.m., and “Talent” will clearly be the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 and total viewers.

In the 9:30-11 p.m. time period, “Talent” ranks #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC and Fox in every key ratings measure.
