Judging from the release, CBS wasn’t tops in upscale viewing with adults 18-49, but crushed the competition in affluent viewers aged 25-54.

The Network Has 14 of the Top 25 Programs, More Than ABC, NBC and FOX Combined

in the Top 20

CBS entertainment programs dominated premiere week among upscale adults 25-54 with household incomes of $100K+ as the Network had 14 of the top 25, more than NBC, ABC and FOX combined, according to Nielsen NPower live plus same day ratings for entertainment programs during the first week of the season ending Sept. 26.

Overall, CBS scored a first place 3.9 rating among adults 25-54 (tie with ABC) with household incomes of $100K+, which included four of the top 10 programs—THE BIG BANG THEORY (6.8 rating, #5), TWO AND A HALF MEN (6.7, #6), SURIVIVOR: NICARAGUA (5.5, #9) and MIKE & MOLLY (5.5, #9).

CBS had 14 of premiere week’s top 25 entertainment programs, more than ABC (6), NBC (3) and FOX (2) combined.  Among the top 25 were three CBS freshman programs—MIKE & MOLLY (#9), HAWAII FIVE-0 (5.2, #14) and $#*! MY DAD SAYS(4.9, #17), more than any other network.

CBS’s other programs in the top 25 include THE AMAZING RACE (5.3, #11), NCIS (5.3, #11), HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (4.9, #17), 60 MINUTES (4.8, #19), RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (4.7, #20), CRIMINAL MINDS (4.4, #22), UNDERCOVER BOSS (4.4, #22) and THE MENTALIST (4.2, #24).
