CBS SPORTS NETWORK KICKS OFF COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON

WITH THURSDAY NIGHT DOUBLEHEADER

 

Network Begins Saturday’s Coverage of Navy-Notre Dame with

Special Pre-Game Show at 7:00 AM, ET

 

 

CBS Sports Network kicks off its tenth season of college football coverage on Thursday, Aug. 30 as UCLA visits Rice (7:30 PM, ET) at Rice Stadium in Houston, Texas. Dave Ryan and analyst Ron Zook call the action, with Evan Washburn reporting from the sidelines.

 

Minnesota at UNLV follows at 11:00 PM, ET from Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev. James Bates and Aaron Taylor handle the call, along with reporter Lauren Gardner.

 

The Network provides live, pre- and post-game coverage, beginning with INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL (6:30-7:30 PM, ET). Adam Zucker hosts, along with analysts Brian Jones, Houston Nutt and reporter Bruce Feldman.

 

On Saturday, Sept. 1, the Network airs a special two-hour pre-game show, INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOTRE DAME-NAVY KICKOFF PRESENTED BY SAMSUNG GALAXY SIII (7:00-9:00 AM, ET).  Zucker hosts and is joined by Jones, Nutt, Taylor and Feldman.

 

Saturday’s live action begins at 8:00 PM, ET as Rutgers visits Tulane at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. Brad Johansen, Doug Chapman and reporter Tammy Blackburn announce.

 

Saturday’s studio coverage also includes INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL (6:00 PM, ET) with Zucker, Jones, Nutt, Feldman and Taylor, and SEC TONIGHT Presented by GEICO (7:00 PM, ET), which discusses the opening weekend of SEC action. INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL returns at 11:30 PM, ET to wrap up the day with news and highlights.
