CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was watched by more than 6 million viewers and was the #1 Sunday morning news program with viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Jan. 4.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING averaged 6.28 million viewers and 1.3/07 in adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its largest audience since March 2, 2014.
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +2% in viewers (5.99m from 5.83m) and even in adults 25-54 (1.4/07) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Lee Cowan’s interview with actress Jennifer Aniston; Mo Rocca’s visit to President Theodore Roosevelt’s North Dakota retreat; Debora Patta, Elizabeth Palmer, Lucy Craft and Wyatt Andrews’ look at what 2015 may hold for regions around the globe; Rita Braver’s profile of Diary of a Wimpy Kid series author Jeff Kinney; David Pogue’s look behind the scenes at the touring production of “Pippin”; and Steve Hartman’s report on a basketball team with a long losing streak.
