(Los Angeles, Ca.) – Rounding out its best season ever, Tuesday night’s mid-season finale of 19 KIDS & COUNTING drew the highest P/W25-54 and HH ratings ever for the series as 3.0M P2+ viewers tuned in to watch Derick Dillard propose to Jill Duggar. The 19 KIDS & COUNTING episode “The Proposal” was the #1 ad-supported primetime cable program with all key women demos, P2+ and HH, propelling TLC to the #1 ad-supported cable network of the night with all key women demos. Tuesday’s mid-season finale was the series highest rated ever among HH (2.4), W25-54 (2.3), and P25-54 (1.5).


Season eight of 19 KIDS & COUNTING ranked #1 among all ad-supported cable in its Tuesday 9pm time period in delivery among all key women demos (W25-54/18-49/18-34) and scored the series best season’s HH, P2+, P/W25-54/18-49/18-34 ratings and delivery ever. This current season outperformed all previous season averages by single to triple digits and averaged a 1.9 HH rating, a 1.7 W25-54, a 1.6 W18-49 rating, a 1.5 W18-34 rating and 2.3M P2+ viewers.


A special episode of 19 KIDS & COUNTING airs Tuesday, June 10 at 8/7c, with a look back at some of cousin Amy’s most memorable moments with her family in an episode titled “A Big Announcement,” followed by the one-hour special A DUGGAR LEAVES HOME at 9/8c, which follows Amy as she trades her simple life in Northwest Arkansas for big city living in Nashville, Tennessee. With dreams of becoming a country music star, Amy is packing her bags and branching out from her supersized family. New episodes of 19 KIDS & COUNTING return to TLC this fall.
