Building off of its record opening weekend viewership performance, “Black Sails” followed up with an impressive week two performance. Beginning with its premiere on Saturday, February 1, 2014,
o “Black Sails” episode 2 kept 99% Saturday night premiere episode performance, yielding 840,000 viewers Live+Same Day (Live+SD)
- “Black Sails” episode 2 kept 98% Saturday night premiere total audience level, producing approximately 1.62 million viewers Live+SD this week versus 1.65 million last week
o “Black Sails” episode 2 kept 93% of its STARZ weekend audience and yielded approximately 2.26 million viewers Live+SD during its second weekend on STARZ
Ø compares to approximately 2.43 million who watched it Live+SD on STARZ for the first weekend (2.6 million figure reported last week includes an additional first episode promotional airing on ENCORE)
Additionally, the first episode of “Black Sails” continued to tally impressive results with extended DVR and online performance data aggregated with sampling opportunities to bring the tally to approximately 6 million viewers and counting.
