ESPN Sunday Night Baseball: Star-Studded September Lineup Includes David Ortiz, Yasiel Puig, Bryce Harper, Robinson Cano


ESPN announced today three September game selections for Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell – Major League Baseball’s exclusive national game of the week. The September slate is highlighted by several of MLB’s biggest stars competing on baseball’s biggest stage, including David Ortiz, Yasiel Puig, Bryce Harper and Robinson Cano.


On the September 1 edition of Sunday Night Baseball, the New York Mets and Marlon Byrd will visit the Washington Nationals and Bryce Harper in a National League East showdown, airing on ESPN2. On September 8, the red-hot National League West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers – led by Yasiel Puig – will visit the Cincinnati Reds and Joey Votto. On September 15, the American League East-leading Boston Red Sox and David Ortiz will host the New York Yankees and Robinson Cano.


ESPN’s regular Sunday Night Baseball commentary team is led by play-by-play veteran Dan Shulman, with analysts Orel Hershiser and John Kruk and reporter Buster Olney. Sunday Night Baseball is also available on ESPN Radio with Jon Sciambi and analyst Chris Singleton, ESPN Deportes with Ernesto Jerez, Luis Alfredo Alvarez, Guillermo Celis, Ozzie Guillen, ESPN Deportes Radio and WatchESPN.


On deck: the New York Yankees will visit the Boston Red Sox, August 18, on Sunday Night Baseball.
