FOX News  Debate


FOX News Channel topped basic cable as the #1 cable network in both total viewers and adults 25-54 for the week ending August 9th, notching its third highest rated week in primetime in its history – the highest since the Iraq war in 2003. The  Republican Presidential Primary Debate was watched by 24 million viewers and was the highest-rated cable news program ever on any network, and was also the highest-rated telecast for the entire week in both broadcast and in cable.

In primetime last week, FNC averaged 4,411,000 in total viewers, 1,187,000 in adults 25-54 and 1,612,000 in total viewers.
