Note: I’ll have the week’s final results from Nielsen on the site likely prior to Noon Eastern time on Tuesday.

via press note:

FOX will win premiere week for the first time in the network’s history!  This is a huge accomplishment for us and is a testament to the major impact that NEW GIRL, THE X FACTOR and our steady returning shows had on the overall strength of our schedule.

In addition, with a ratings increase of +27%, FOX is the only network to post year-over-year gains during premiere week.  Here’s how the numbers will likely shake out:

Week Of 9/19/11 – 9/25/11 (Adults 18-49):

No. 1, FOX, 3.3/9 (+27% vs. premiere week last season)

No. 2, CBS, 3.0/8 (-9%)

No. 3, ABC, 2.8/8 (flat)

No.4, NBC, 2.6/7 (-7%)

No. 5, Univision, 1.5/4 (-6%)

No. 6, CW, 0.7/2 (-36%)

No. 7, Telemundo, 0.4/1 (+33%)

FOX will also rank No. 1 for the week among Adults 18-34 (3.2/9), Teens (2.3/8) and Persons 12-34 (2.9/9).  This marks FOX’s highest- rated premiere week in 11 years.
