‘Frasier’ Comes to Hallmark Channel Beginning April 4;
Take the “Synaptic” Tour Inside Frasier’s Mind Beginning March 22

For 11 wondrous seasons, television viewers went inside Frasier’s home, his radio studio and even into his favorite relaxation spot – Café Nervosa.  You know Frasier and his equally erudite brother Niles love wine, opera, the arts, and society benefits.  You may remember Frasier’s apartment sofa was an exact replica of the one Coco Chanel had at her Paris Hotelier.  So many special moments.  Now with Hallmark Channel bringing “Frasier” to its air beginning Monday, April 4, the network welcomes fans of one of the most award-winning shows every produced to go on a different kind of Hollywood backlot tour – one that travels deep into the mind of Dr. Frasier Crane.

“Inside the Mind of Dr. Frasier Crane,” is a social media gaming feast for the sights and senses at from March 22 through April 9.  The game is also available at

The game takes place within the field of Frasier Crane’s massive forehead, which is the entry point.  When users “click” on Frasier’s forehead they are transported into a multi-media experience where synapses fire, lights flash, and we begin to see the things that are most important to Frasier – his family, friends, and all that he loves (okay, Eddie will be there, too!).  The characters who live in Frasier’s mind include dad Martin, producer Roz, Martin’s home health caregiver Daphne, effete brother Niles, celebrities who called in to Dr. Crane’s radio show.  Mousing over one of the characters above animates that character to have an interaction with Frasier.  Clicking on a character a causes a video screen to drop down replaying memorable moments between characters.  Accents of the good life were also important to Frasier.  Expect to see his grand piano (which plays the shows theme song), art, a phone where annoying listeners call in, and a door (which leads nowhere, but responds with classic Frasier phrases – try saying ‘Frasier phrases’ three times fast!)

Other clickable items and actions include: a couch where pillows fight each other, a TV remote control, a telescope, a stack of books, headphones, inflatable clown, decanters of sherry, folded newspaper, and so many more.  Objects are shown in a 360-degree view for users to click and sample video clips and other surprises only found with repeated exploration.  New content will be added daily through the April 4th launch to encourage repeated engagement.

“Hallmark Channel is thrilled to bring the classic TV show ‘Frasier’ to a new viewing audience, and to offer a unique, one-of-a-kind experience to our loyal Facebook Fans,” said Annie Howell, SVP, Communications & Media Relations.

“As we continue to leverage our social media base, we will seek new opportunities to engage our ever growing number of almost 500,000 devoted fans,” Howell concludes.
