Psychological Thriller to Premiere in 2011

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 24, 2010) – Entertainment icon Heather Locklear (Lifetime’s Flirting with Forty) has been cast to star in the Lifetime Original Movie He Loves Me.  The psychological thriller will premiere in 2011.

By all appearances in He Loves Me, Laura (Locklear) believes she leads the idyllic life.  She’s a successful Seattle real estate agent, presumably happily married to one of the city’s leading cardiologists and mother to their darling six year old daughter.  When Laura begins to suspect her husband is cheating on her, she is devastated by his infidelity, despite having a torrid affair of her own.  Desperately trying to save her marriage, Laura’s mysterious past begins to emerge, making her more paranoid, delusional and violent in alarming ways.  As her mental state continues to unravel, whoever gets in the way of Laura’s myriad of fantasies becomes expendable — no matter who they are – revealing the shocking dream world that insulates her from reality.

Best known for creating some of television’s most memorable characters, six-time Golden Globe® nominee Heather Locklear has enjoyed a prolific career in both television and film.  Named as one of the most influential icons of television by Entertainment Weekly, Locklear’s credits include starring roles in the hit series Spin City, Melrose Place, Dynasty, and T.J. Hooker. She also starred in the HBO thriller Double Tap, the NBC telefilm Shattered Mind and the ABC miniseries Texas Justice.

Locklear recently starred in the Lifetime Original Movie, Flirting with Forty, about a divorced mother of two on the brink of her 40th birthday who, while on vacation, finds an unexpected romance with a much younger man and learns that life can begin at 40.  Flirting with Forty rated in the top three original movies for the network among Households and Women 18+.  Prior to that, she was the star of Lifetime’s Angels Fall, based on the best-selling novel by Nora Roberts.  Its premiere was one of the top ten most watched program telecasts in the history of the channel among Women 18+.

In 2005, Locklear starred with Hilary Duff and Chris Noth in The Perfect Man. She was also featured in MGM’s Uptown Girls and in Warner Bros.’ Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Locklear has been named three times on People Magazine’s Most Beautiful List.  In addition to her beauty and talent, Locklear serves on the Board of Directors for the Motion Picture & Television Fund and supports The Michael J.
