HISTORY’S #1 NEW HIT SERIES ON CABLE
FINISHES FIRST SEASON STRONG
#1 New Cable Series in 2010 among Total Viewers and Adults 25-54
HISTORY’s new hit series, AMERICAN PICKERS, finished up its season 1 run strong. The season finale of back to back 30 minute episodes, on Monday, April 5, produced 3.5 million total viewers, 1.9 million Adults 25-54 and 1.8 million Adults 18-49 at 9pm ET. And, the 9:30pm ET episode posted 3.7 million total viewers, 2.0 million Adults 25-54 and 1.9 million Adults 18-49.
The overall average numbers for season 1 of American Pickers are:
- 3.8 million Total Viewers
- 2.0 million Adults 25-54
- 1.8 million Adults 18-49
Part sleuths, part antiques experts, and part cultural historians— Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, business partners of Antique Archaeology based in Iowa, are professional “pickers,” trolling America’s small towns and back roads to salvage rare collectibles and good junk from regular folks. AMERICAN PICKERS follows the adventures of Mike and Frank for a glimpse at this little-known side of the antiques business.
