New York, November 23, 2009 – The 5 consecutive night premiere of WWII in HD— which debuted from Sunday-Thursday, November 15-19 at 9-11pm ET on HISTORY— claimed an average of 2.4 million Total Viewers, 970,000 Adults 25-54, 840,000 Adults 18-49 and a 2.0 HH rating per night.
More than 24.1 million viewers watched at least a portion of the 10-hour/5-night program event.

HISTORY’s visually astonishing landmark series WWII in HD presents the story of the war ? viewed through the eyes of 12 Americans who fought in or contributed to the war effort.
