Host Gigi Edgley and Head Judge Brian Henson deliver the Creature Brief – to design, build and bring to life original Skeksis that have been banished to an inhospitable environment. Designers work in teams of three to sculpt, paint, mechanize, and costume their Skeksis before moving to the legendary Henson Sound Stage for a screen test featuring original props from the movie and the actual “Dark Crystal” itself. Creature Shop Fabrication Supervisor Julie Zobel serves as Master for the episode and guides the designers throughout their build.
