May Sweeps to-Date, UniMás Increased its Adults 18-49 (+59%) and Adults 18-34 (+67%) Audience over the Prior Sweeps While Telemundo Reported Declines

 

UniMás was the No.2 Spanish-language Network for the Entire Weekend, Out-delivering Telemundo Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults18-49

 

“La Viuda Negra” Continues to Build its Audience Week-to-Week among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 12, 2014 to May 18, 2014

 

·         May Sweeps to-date, UniMás attracted more Adults 18-49 (+59%) and Adults 18-34 (+67%) versus the prior sweeps period-to-date, while Telemundo reported declines of (-33%) and (-37%) respectively.

 

·         UniMás was the #2 Spanish-language network on Saturday night, out-delivering Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+17%) and Adults 18-49 (+12%).

ü  This marks the third consecutive Saturday night UniMás out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.

 

·         UniMás out-delivered Telemundo on Sunday night and ranked as the #2 Spanish-language network among Total Viewers 2+ (+13%), Adults 18-49 (+43%), and Adults 18-34 (+22%).

ü  At 9 p.m. UniMás aired the final match of the Liga Mexicana Clausura season between Pachuca and Leon.  Leon clinched its second straight title, scoring in the last ten minutes of the game.  The match attracted 2.5 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.6 Million Adults 18-49, and 764,000 Adults 18-34.  In fact, the soccer match was also a top pick for the night among Total Viewers 2+ (#13) Adults 18-49 (#8) and Adults 18-34 (#5). 

 

·         UniMás’ 10 p.m. dramatic series “La Viuda Negra” continues to build its audience week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+3%), Adults 18-49 (+2%), and Adults 18-34(+4%).

 

·         In the current 2013/2014 season, UniMás reported primetime audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+14%) and Adults 18-49 (+14%), and Adults 18-34 (+11%) over the comparable weeks in the 2012/2013 season.

 

·         Versus the same week a year ago (05/13/13-05/19/13), UniMás reported growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+63%), Adults 18-49 (+72%), and Adults 18-34 (+79%) viewers.

 

·         UniMás, on average, more than doubled the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca, and MundoFox among Total Viewers 2+ (+126%), Adults 18-49 (+205%) and Adults 18-34 (+227%).
