‘Jenni Rivera Presents Chiquis and Raq-C’ Becomes the Network’s Best Original Reality Series Ever with Season Finale Scoring 222,000 Total Viewers

Universal City, CA. – September 30, 2010 – Continuing its record-breaking ratings streak, mun2 scored its best month ever with its largest Monday through Sunday primetime delivery in network history, averaging 78,000 total viewers (Persons 2+) in prime time according to Nielsen Media Research. The Saturday September 25th season finale of mun2’s hit reality series Jenni Rivera Presents Chiquis and Raq-C during its 3pm time slot delivered an impressive 222,000 (Persons 2+), 124,000 Persons 18-34, and 141,000 Persons 18-49, making it the network’s highest rated original reality series. mun2 also scored its best quarter in network history with its largest Monday through Sunday primetime delivery, averaging 64,000 (Persons 2+), 24,000 Persons 18-34, 35,000 Persons 18-49, and 43,000 Persons 12-34.

mun2 finished September as the fastest growing Hispanic cable network in Monday through Sunday primetime, across key demographics among Hispanic viewers, with a year-over-year growth of +52% (Persons 2+), +33% Persons 12-34, +32% Persons 18-34, and +43% Persons 18-49. Furthermore, mun2 out-performed FOX Deportes, GolTV, ESPN Deportes, and Tr3s: MTV, Musica y Mas across Persons 2+ (70,000 viewers), Persons 12-34 (40,000 viewers) and Persons 18-34 (29,000 viewers).

HOLAMUN2.COM reached its largest September base with an increase of +41% in unique visitors versus September 2009, generating 8.3 million total page views (+115% versus one year ago). Chiquis and Raq-C content delivered 1.9 million page views (22% of total page views). In addition, the top five page views for the month of September were video streams of Chiquis and Raq-C episodes.

Program Highlights:

The season finale of Chiquis and Raq-C out-delivered cable networks Galavision, Discovery, GOLTV, ESPN Deportes and Tr3S: MTV, Musica y Mas among Persons 18-34, Persons 12-34, and Persons 18-49. For the month of September 2010, Chiquis and Raq-C averaged 71,000 total viewers during its Saturday 3pm premiere telecasts, increasing its Persons 18-34 delivery by +184% (71,000 vs. 22,000) versus August 2010.

The mun2 Look grabbed +27% more viewers on average during September, versus its first four week run in first quarter 2010. The season finale ended with 59,000 P18-34 during its Saturday 4pm time period, the largest delivery for the show since premiere.

Decisiones Extremas hit its highest audience delivery this year, averaging 79,000 Persons 18-34 during its Monday through Thursday 10pm time period during the month of September, reaching its peak on Wednesday nights with 114,000 Persons 18-34.
