The new season of MY STRANGE ADDICTION kicks off Wednesday, January 7th at 10/9c with more stories of people living with unusual compulsions. The season kicks off with a one-hour special that shows the world of the female maskers: men who dress in rubber suits and masks to look like life-sized, shapely female dolls.
During the course of the sixth season we get to know other unique individuals including:
26-year-old Evelyn has been addicted to drinking air freshener for 3 years. At least fifty times a day, Evelyn reaches for her can and sprays a mouthful.
For the past three years, 56-year-old Linda has been happily married to “Bruce,” a 70-foot and 60-ton carnival ride. She has rekindled her love for Bruce since 1981. Linda is a self-proclaimed objectum sexual, which means she has romantic feelings for inanimate objects. Other past romantic relationships include a locomotive and an airplane.
29-year-old Patrice is a happily married woman in London who has been addicted to eating bricks for the past 12 years. Her addiction is so intense that she chewed a 2-foot hole in the wall of her bedroom. and consumed parts of her grandmothers home in secret. Patrice has not gone a day without eating brick since she was 17.
When it comes to love, Kyle is an old-school player. He has an active sex life and juggles several girlfriends at the same time. But you won’t find Kyle hitting on girls at bars or going on blind dates. Kyle is more likely to meet his “type” at a nursing home or bingo hall. The 31 year-old Romeo is addicted to dating elderly women.
