n  NBC was #1 for the night in the 18-49 demo among the Big 4 networks with a 1.6/5 and 5.254 million total viewers.

n  The two-hour season premiere of “American Ninja Warrior” (8-10 p.m.) was the #1 show of the night in the demo with a 1.8/6.

n  It was also the #1 most-watched show of the night with 5.888 million viewers.

n  “American Ninja Warrior” won every half-hour, including from 9-10 p.m. when it defeated ABC’s “The Bachelorette” in the 18-49 demo and total viewers.

n  “America Ninja Warrior” rose in its first three half-hours (1.5 to a 1.9) and was even the last half hour.

n  Last night’s “American Ninja Warrior” outperformed the previous season premiere of “American Ninja Warrior” (May 26, 2014), which drew a 1.6 and 4.655 million viewers.

n  The season finale on Sept. 8, 2014 drew a 1.8 and 5.296 million viewers.

n  The 2014 season average of “American Ninja Warrior” was a 1.8 and 5.251 million viewers.

n  From 10-11 p.m., the series premiere of “The Island” drew a 1.2/4 and 3.984 million viewers.


n  In metered market comparisons, the 1.2 rating is the best series premiere for an NBC alternative series since July 2014 (“Food Fighters,” 1.1).
