Couture Wedding Gown Retailer Kleinfeld and Fashion Director Terry Hall

to Guest Judge Episode 3 on Tuesday, February 26th at 9:00 PM ET/PT

NEW YORK, NY – February 20, 2013 – The competition intensified last night on Oxygen Media’s “The Face,” (Tuesday, February 19th at 9 PM ET/PT) as the 11 remaining supermodel hopefuls went head-to-head in a Vogue Eyewear “Strike A Pose” Test shoot and steamy Cosabella lingerie commercial. During the test shoot, led by supermodel coach and ‘Queen of Posing’ Coco Rocha, Team Naomi struggled to bounce back from the first elimination and the trio found themselves in the bottom three. In the end, Team Karolina’s Australian beauty, Madeleine won the challenge with 75 useable photos – one which will be featured on Vogue Eyewear’s website. Back at the loft, tensions flared between Sandra and Jocelyn from Team Naomi, leading Naomi to make a surprise visit to calm Sandra down and unite her team in time for the campaign shoot with designer lingerie label Cosabella. With brand representative Guido Campello serving as a special guest judge, the ladies were tasked with representing the different sides of the Cosabella woman – sexy, sweet and conservative. With minutes left in their shoot, Team Naomi turned it on for the camera and started an on-camera pillow fight that came off as the perfect “edge” for the Cosabella campaign that Guido Campello was looking for. As the winners, each member of Naomi’s team received an exclusive “Never Say Never” lingerie set named after them while Coco and Karolina had to fearfully select one of their hopefuls for elimination.

A very emotional Coco met with her team and unwillingly put Stephanie up for elimination for a second week in a row. Vying against her was Karolina’s hopeful Christy, whose performance during the commercial shoot caused confusion amongst her team. To Karolina’s surprise, supermodel coach Naomi Campbell gave modeling newbie Stephanie, from Team Coco, another chance to become “The Face,” eliminating Team Karolina’s Christy.

Christy, 24, from Atascadero, CA, has been modeling for over ten years. She is the daughter of a minister and loves all things vintage. Her determination and drive led her to Los Angeles and hoped that being a part of “Team Karolina” would afford her even greater opportunities, but she did not become “The Face.”

Next week on “The Face,” airing Tuesday, February 26 at 9 PM ET/PT, the 10 remaining hopefuls are put to the ultimate speed challenge, testing how quickly they can be runway ready in a Marshalls Test Shoot. Meanwhile, Team Coco hopeful Marlee contemplates leaving the competition after discovering some financial issues at home. Then, in a couture fashion show for world-renowned wedding gown retailer, Kleinfeld, led by guest judge and fashion director, Terry Hall, the aspiring models must navigate an enormous staircase for a live audience, while wearing large bridal gowns. Who will rise to the occasion and who will fall from grace? The pressure is on as the girls put everything on the line to move on in the competition to become “The Face.”
