Drive HISTORY to #1 in all of Cable for the Night

New York, January 25, 2011 – HISTORY’s hit series, PAWN STARS and AMERICAN PICKERS, produced record breaking ratings for the network and secured new series highs this past Monday, January 24 from 9-11pm ET. The premieres drove HISTORY to the #1 cable network for the night among total viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49.

The back to back premiere episodes of PAWN STARS and AMERICAN PICKERS amassed the following:

PAWN STARS at 10:30pm achieved:

  • Total Viewers: 7.0 million
  • Adults 25-54:  3.7 million
  • Adults 18-49:  3.7 million
  • # 1 telecast on all of cable among all key metrics including: total viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
  • The series overall best delivery in total viewers and HISTORY’s #1 telecast of all time.

PAWN STARS at 10:00pm banked:

  • Total Viewers: 6.7 million
  • Adults 25-54:  3.6 million
  • Adults 18-49:  3.4 million
  • # 2 telecast on all of cable among all key metrics including: total viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

AMERICAN PICKERS at 9pm premiered to:

  • Total Viewers: 6.2 million
  • Adults 25-54:  3.0 million
  • Adults 18-49:  2.6 million
  • # 3 telecast on all of cable among all key metrics including: total viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
