Season 2 Finale of Braxton Family Values and New Series Tamar & Vince

Reach 2.5 Million Total Viewers



NEW YORK, NY – September 25, 2012 – WE tv’s popular original series Braxton Family Values, coupled with the channel’s new – and first ever – spin-off series, Tamar & Vince, led the women’s network to rank in the top five among all cable networks on Thursday, September 20, among the key W18-49 and W25-54 demos.  The shows also led WE tv to rank as the #1 cable network during prime time among all African American female viewers (W2+, W18-49 and W25-54).


The combined premiere and encore airings of the second season finale of Braxton Family Values on Thursday night (9-10 pm) reached 1.9 million total viewers, nearly 900,000 W25-54 and 824,000 W18-49.  The combined airings of Tamar & Vince (10-11 pm) reached 1.8 million total viewers, 859,000 W25-54 and 766,000 W18-49.  Together the sister shows reached an unduplicated audience of 2.5 million total viewers, 1.1 million W25-54 and nearly one million W18-49 on Thursday night.


Braxton Family Values continues to deliver a strong audience to WE tv.  Versus season one, season two delivered +46% more total viewers (935,000 vs. 641,000), +39% more W25-54 (502,000 vs. 362,000) and +36% more W18-49 (518,000 vs. 381,000).


In social media, the Braxton Family Values season finale ranked #6 on Trendrr for cable prime time shows; Tamar & Vince ranked #7.
