2014/15 Season to Date:

 

·         Ahead of its largest rollout of original series in the network’s near 14-year history, ABC Family is the #1 ad-supported cable TV network in sales prime time based on advertising currency C3 ratings across Women 18-34 (237,000/0.7 rating), Women 18-49 (393,000/0.6 rating) and Females 12-34 (331,000/0.7 rating) and is a Top 5 ad-supported cable TV network in Adults 18-34 (#2 – 336,000/0.5 rating), Adults 18-49 (#4 – 586,000/0.5 rating) and Viewers 12-34 (#2 – 472,000/0.5 rating).

 

o   In Women 18-34 (237,000), ABC Family more than doubles MTV (+116%, vs. 112,000) and is ahead by double digits over Bravo (+98%, vs. 120,000), TBS (+42%, vs. 167,000) and USA (+28%, vs. 185,000).

 

o   In Women 18-49 (393,000), ABC Family is beating its chief competition in the demo, including Bravo by +60% (245,000), TBS by +15% (341,000) and USA by +7% (367,000).  

 

o   In Females 12-34 (331,000), ABC Family beats its competition by the largest margins, including Bravo by +155% (130,000), MTV by +99% (166,000), TBS by +70% (195,000) and USA by +48% (223,000).  

 

·         ABC Family is the only Top 10 cable TV network up season to season in Adults 18-49 (+9% – 586,000 vs. 537,000), Adults 18-34 (+4% – 336,000 vs. 324,000) and Women 18-34 (+1% – 237,000 vs. 234,000). 

 

Social Media:

 

Triumphant across multiple platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr), ABC Family has the most socially engaged audience, ranking as the #1 TV network season to date, amassing over 8.5 million average engagements per show, +24% more than #2 AMC (6.9 million) and +63% more than the #1 broadcast network, The CW (5.2 million):

·         Since its June 2010 series debut, “Pretty Little Liars” has amassed over 100 million tweets (103.4 million).

 

·         “Pretty Little Liars” accounts for Twitter’s #1 scripted cable TV series telecast of all time and accounts for the Top 5 most tweeted scripted cable TV series telecasts overall – including the Top 2 in 2014.

 

 

  • Season to date in Total Tweets, “Pretty Little Liars” is cable TV’s #2 most tweeted series (3,752,944) while “The Fosters” is the 7th most tweeted about scripted cable TV series (516,929).

Instagram:

·         Since its May 2014 launch, “Pretty Little Liars” is the #1 most followed scripted series with over 1.8 million followers, easily topping AMC’s “The Walking Dead” (1.2 million) and Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black” (1.1 million).

 

·         ABC Family is the 3rd-most-followed TV network to date, with close to 3 million followers (2,863,085).

 

Snapchat:

·         “Pretty Little Liars” – easily one of the fastest-growing social TV brands – has accrued 815,000 followers and is on pace to reach 1 Million followers by its season 6 launch this coming summer.

 

Pinterest:

·         “Pretty Little Liars” is also the #1 scripted show on Pinterest.
