MIAMI – June 9, 2015 – The finale of Telemundo’s third season of “La Voz Kids” ranked #1 among all Spanish-language broadcast programs on Sunday night among key demos delivering 2,225,000 total viewers and 955,000 adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. Featuring Coaches Daddy Yankee, Natalia Jimenez and Pedro Fernandez, the popular singing competition was the #1 regularly scheduled Spanish-language Sunday primetime entertainment program among total viewers for eight consecutive weeks, during its 13-episode run. Additionally, the “La Voz Kids” finale was the #1 Spanish-language program, in its time period, among total viewers, in New York, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Philadelphia, and among adults 18-49 in Houston and Phoenix.

TELEMUNDO ranked as the #1 Spanish-language network with the “La Voz Kids” finale, according to ListenFirst’s Digital Audience Ratings for television, beating out programs that aired the same evening, Botched, Family Guy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Gravity Falls, Bar Rescue, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Instagram was a key driver for DAR TV rating with over half of the program’s total engagements driven by fans following, liking, commenting and using hash tags on the platform.  On Twitter, nearly 15,000 unique users tweeted more than 30,000 times about the finale. The most-used hashtag was #LVK with 17,600 mentions, followed by #TeamNatalia with nearly 6,000 mentions.

During the grand finale #TeamNatalia’s Jonael Santiago was named the winner of the third season of the popular singing competition. Hosts Daisy Fuentes and Jorge Bernal announced the 11 year-old Miami-based boy from Puerto Rico as the winner, in a much anticipated finale that featured performances by “La Voz Kids” Coach Pedro Fernandez, International music star Marc Anthony with Gente de Zona and Mexican super star Lucero. Selected by the audience vote, Jonael receives a recording contract from Universal Music Group and a cash prize from AT&T consisting of $50,000 to pursue his dreams and continue his education, plus a $10,000 cash price from Chrysler.
