Sneaky Pete

via press note:

Amazon has released the official trailer of its new pilot Sneaky Pete, starring Giovanni Ribisi, Margo Martindale and guest starring Bryan Cranston in his first TV series appearance since Breaking Bad. Sneaky Pete was originally a CBS pilot. The streaming service acquired it after the network passed on the series.

The pilot is executive produced by David Shore (House),  Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) and will be available on Amazon for free for only 30 days beginning this Friday, August 7.

Amazon’s unique development process gives customers an opportunity to watch, rate and comment on which pilots they want turned into Amazon Original Series that are then available to Prime members.

Sneaky Pete revolves around a con-man (Giovanni Ribisi) who, after leaving prison, takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of his cellmate, Pete. He moves in with Pete’s unsuspecting family and is roped into the family’s bail bond business. In order to keep the charade up, he plays the part of a skip tracer, taking down criminals worse than himself—and discovering a family life he’s never had. The premise was developed by Shore and Cranston after Cranston’s Emmy speech, encouraging the Sneaky Petes of the world to turn their life around.
