DC's Legends of Tomorrow

The Upfronts have gone from an obscure convention for the advertising industry to an event that kicks off the networks’ publicity campaigns for the upcoming seasons, with the same trailers that are shown to advertisers released on the internet for viewers. Twitter has crunched the numbers to reveal which new series generated the most tweets. The results are not surprising: two series based on comics, two reboots of old shows and one Ryan Murphy drama:

FOX: Scream Queens
CW: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow
CBS: Supergirl
ABC: The Muppets
NBC: Heroes Reborn
Last season, pre-season Twitter buzz had little correlation to Nielsen ratings, with hits Scorpion and black-ish generating little buzz while there was plenty of chatter about Constantine.
