UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of March 10, 2014 to March 16, 2014

 

  • UniMás’ 10 p.m. dramatic series “La Viuda Negra” out-delivered Telemundo’s “Camelia la Texana” on every night this past week among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. In fact, “La Viuda Negra” averaged more Total Viewers 2+ (1.3 Million, +6%), Adults 18-49 (693,000, +8%), and Adults 18-34 (375,000, +9%), making UniMás the #2 Spanish-language network during the Monday- Friday 10 p.m. hour.

 

  • On Friday night, UniMás was the #2 Spanish-language network , attracting more Adults 18-34 viewers (+8%) than Telemundo.

 

ü  UniMás reported week-over-week audience increases on Friday night among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 928,000), Adults 18-49 (+8% to 474,000), and Adults 18-34 (+13% to 242,000).

 

ü  The 8 p.m. Cineplex “Commando” delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+20% to 756,000), Adults 18-49 (+17% to 360,000), and Adults 18-34 (+38% to 182,000) compared to last Friday’s feature film “The Rule of Law.”

 

ü  Airing head-to-head “La Viuda Negra” attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (12%) and Adults 18-49 (+9%), and Adults 18-34 (+15%) than Telemundo’s 10 p.m. novela.  In Fact, “La Viuda Negra” averaged more Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34 than Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup.

 

  • In the current 2013/2014 Season, UniMás reporting primetime audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+1%) and Adults 18-49 (+3%) over the comparable weeks in the 2012/2013 season. 

 

  • Versus the same week a year ago (03/11/13- 03/17/13), UniMás reported double-digit percentage growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+85%), Adults 18-49 (+80%), and Adults 18-34 (+69%) viewers.

 

  • UniMás, on average, more than doubled the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca, and MundoFox among Total Viewers 2+ (+159%) and nearly tripled the combined of Adults 18-49 (+199%) audience and Adults 18-34 (+309%).
