Univision Beat One or More English-Language Network on 92% of Nights Among Adults 18-34 in November Sweeps to Date

 

This Week, Univision Ranked as the No. 4 Broadcast Network Among Adults 18-34 and 18-49, Outperforming FOX in Each Demographic

 

Latin Grammys Helped Univision Rank No. 2 on Thursday Night Among Both Demographics, Beating CBS, NBC and FOX

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of November 17, 2014 to November 23, 2014

 

·         In November 2014 Sweeps to date (25 nights), Univision ranks as the No. 5 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Univision beat one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on 92% of nights among Adults 18-34 and 76% of nights among Adults 18-49 (23 and 19 nights, respectively).  Also, with a median age of 40, Univision is younger than ABC (55), CBS (60), NBC (54), FOX (48) and CW (44).

·         This week, Univision ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming FOX in each demographic.  Univision also out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six nights among both demographics.

 

·         On Thursday, airing the Latin Grammys, Univision ranked as the No. 2 broadcast network for the evening among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming CBS, NBC and FOX among each demographic.

ü  The show increased its audience from 2013 among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 4.8 million), Adults 18-49 (+10% to 2.6 million) and Adults 18-34 (+16% to 1.3 million).

ü  Ranked as the No. 4 and No. 7 broadcast network program, respectively, among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

·         “Mi Corazón es Tuyo” (My Heart is Yours) helped make Univision the No. 1 and No. 4 broadcast network, respectively, among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 Monday to Friday 8pm-9pm, outperforming FOX in each demographic.  The novela averaged 3.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.9 million Adults 18-49 and 887,000 Adults 18-34.

·         “Hasta El Fin Del Mundo” (Until the End of Time) helped make Univision the No. 2 and No. 4 broadcast network, respectively, among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 Monday to Friday 9pm-10pm, outperforming FOX in each demographic.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 3.5 million), Adults 18-49 (+5% to 1.7 million) and Adults 18-34 (+13% to 832,000).

·         “La Malquerida” (The Unloved) helped make Univision the No. 3 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 Monday to Friday 10pm-11pm, outperforming CBS.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+7% to 2.4 million), Adults 18-49 (+8% to 1.2 million) and Adults 18-34 (+21% to 544,000).

·         On Saturday night, “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) helped Univision rank as the No. 2 and No. 3 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, respectively, outperforming FOX and NBC in each demographic.  The show averaged 2.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 893,000 Adults 18-49 and 392,000 Adults 18-34.

·         On Sunday night, Univision ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network among Adults 18-49, outperforming FOX.  Univision’s full primetime lineup ranked within the top 15 programs for the entire evening among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

ü  At 7pm, “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now) helped Univision rank as the No. 4 broadcast network in the time period among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming FOX in each demographic.  The show saw growth over the prior week among Adults 18-34 (+4% to 503,000).

ü  Airing 8pm-10:06pm, “Va Por Ti” (This One’s For You) helped Univision rank as the No. 4 broadcast network in the time period among Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS.  The show averaged 3.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.6 million Adults 18-49 and 734,000 Adults 18-34.

ü  Following “Va Por Ti” at 10:06pm, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) helped Univision rank as the No. 3 broadcast network in the time period among Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS.  The show saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+10% to 2.6 million), Adults 18-49 (+19% to 1.4 million) and Adults 18-34 (+25% to 596,000).
