– Among Sliding Cable Landscape, Network Snags Highest Quarter Ever In Total Day –


(Silver Spring Md.) – Velocity continued the summer with sizzling ratings as the network boasted record-breaking double-digit gains in Total Day and outpaced competition in Primetime.  During 2Q15 Total Day, Velocity reached its highest-ever quarterly delivery for their key demo Men 25-54. In Primetime for the quarter, Velocity earned its highest-ever 2Q ratings and delivery among Households as well as its highest-ever 2Q delivery among Men 25-54, Men (M18+) and Persons (P2+). Competitively, Velocity grew its Primetime Men 25-54 delivery by 7% and jumped 7 slots in the competitive ranks.  Among networks with subscribers under 70M, Velocity tied for #1 on Men 25-54 delivery with Univision Deportes.


In Total Day, June 2015 was Velocity’s highest-ever rated June for HH, Persons/Men 18-49 and Persons/Men 25-54 as well as the highest-delivering June ever in Total Day across all target demos. During Primetime, June ‘15 was Velocity’s highest-ever rated June for Households and Men 18-49, and best-ever delivering June for key demos Persons/Men 18-49, Persons/Men 25-54, Households, Men (M18+), and Persons (P2+).   In June ’15 vs. June ’14 Primetime, Velocity grew 10% in Household ratings while increasing delivery in its Men 25-54 target by 10% and total Persons 2+ by 15%.


In addition, June 2015 marks 44 consecutive months of continuous ratings growth in Primetime for Households and Men (M18+).


Leading ratings success were freshman series JUNKYARD EMPIRE and returning fan-favorite CHASING CLASSIC CARS, each of which gained considerable momentum on L+3 day measurement and drove the Men 25-54 and Men 18-49 Primetime ratings success. Outside of Primetime, female-led how-to show ALL GIRLS GARAGE averaged 73% Men 25-54 ratings gains vs. year ago, and on 5/9/15 at 11:30a it was Velocity’s highest-rated telecast for Men 25-54 in 2Q15.
