A Combined 2.7 Million Total Viewers Tune In To The Premiere And Encore Of  VH1’s “Mob Wives Reunion Special” On Sunday, July 10 – Premiere Episode Scores A 1.1 In the Key 18-49 Demo

NEW YORK, NY – July 12, 2011 VH1 continued its summer ratings climb this past Sunday night when a season-high 2.7 million people tuned into watch the 8pm* premiere and the 11pm* encore airing of VH1’s “Mob Wives Reunion Special.”  The 8pm* premiere of the special garnered a 1.1 rating in the key 18-49 demo. Across Mob Wives’ premieres throughout the season, VH1 was the #1 non-sports cable network in the 8pm-9pm* time period among W18-34.

VH1’s latest hit series “Mob Wives,” which has been picked up for a second season averaged 1.33 million total viewers per episode throughout its first season. The series gives viewers an unfiltered look into this closed-door society as Renee, Karen, Carla and Drita face daily life challenges while their husbands and fathers do time for alleged mob-related activities. United by a bond which few understand, the women are all struggling with their identities and their futures as they raise their kids as single parents.  Season two is slated to premiere this fall with 12 new episodes.
