ABC’s weekly Live + Same Day Adult 18-49 average is projected to increase 30% to a 1.0 rating in Live + 3 Day and build 38% to a 1.1 rating in Live + 7 Day.

Monday

ABC earned second place on Monday night in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3) among the broadcasters, up 11% week to week.

 

“Bachelor in Paradise” (8:00-9:04 p.m. – 5.1 million and 1.5/6 in AD18-49):

At 8:00 p.m., ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise” built on its week-ago Monday premiere in Total Viewers (+9% – 5.1 million vs. 4.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (+15% – 1.5/6 vs. 1.3/5). In fact the show equaled a series high in Adults 18-49. The ABC unscripted series finished second behind NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” for the Adult 18-49 lead (1.5/6 vs. 1.8/7) in the hour, while ranking No. 1 with key Women demos (W18-49/W25-54).  “Bachelor in Paradise” was Monday’s No. 1 TV show with Women 18-49. 

 

“Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise” (9:04-10:01 p.m. – 3.3 million and 0.7/2 in AD18-49):

From 9:04-10:01 p.m., ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise” ran neck and neck with Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” in Total Viewers (3.3 million vs. 3.4 million).  The new ABC show was up slightly from its week-ago debut in Total Viewers (3.3 million vs. 3.1 million) and was steady in Adults 18-49 (0.7/2 vs. 0.8/3).

Wednesday

“Modern Family-R” (9:00-9:31 p.m. – 3.9 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49):

ABC’s encore “Modern Family” won the 9:00 p.m. half-hour in Adults 18-49 (1.1/4), beating NBC’s original “Mr. Robinson” by 10% (1.0/4).

“black-ish-R” (9:31-10:00 p.m. – 3.3 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49):

At 9:30 p.m., ABC’s repeat “black-ish” tied for No. 1 in the half-hour among Adults 18-49 (1.0/3) with NBC’s first-run “Mr. Robinson,” while dominating CBS’ “Extant” by 67% (0.6/2).

“Celebrity Wife Swap-R” (10:00-11:00 p.m. – 2.5 million and 0.7/2 in AD18-49):

At 10 o’clock, ABC’s rebroadcast “Celebrity Wife Swap” beat CBS’ repeat “Criminal Minds” in Adults 18-49 by 17% (0.7/2 vs. 0.6/2).

 

Thursday

“The Astronaut Wives Club” (8:00-9:00 p.m. – 3.2 million and 0.6/3 in AD18-49):

ABC’s “The Astronaut Wives Club” continued to improve its 8 o’clock time period for ABC, up from original programming in the hour on the year-ago night (2.1 million and 0.5/2 on 8/14/14) by 1.1 million viewers and by 20% in Adults 18-49.

 

·         In the most recent round of Live + 7 Day numbers (for 7/23/15), “The Astronaut Wives Club” scored its biggest-ever playback increase in Adults 18-49 with a +67% jump over its L+SD rating.

 

“Mistresses” (9:00-10:00 p.m. – 3.0 million and 0.7/3 in AD18-49):

At 9:00 p.m., ABC’s “Mistresses” built week to week in Total Viewers (+20% – 3.0 million vs. 2.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (+17% – 0.7/3 vs. 0.6/2).

 

“Rookie Blue” (10:00-11:00 p.m. – 3.3 million and 0.6/2 in AD18-49):

At 10:00 p.m., ABC’s “Rookie Blue” was up week to week in Total Viewers (+6% – 3.3 million vs. 3.1 million) and Adults 25-54 (+14% – 0.8/2 vs. 0.7/2), while holding steady in Adults 18-49 (+33% – 0.6/2).

 

Friday

With a repeat “Shark Tank” leading into “What Would You Do?” and “20/20,” ABC won Friday night in Adults 18-49 (0.9/4) and Adults 25-54 (1.2/4).

·         At 8:00 p.m., ABC’s encore “Shark Tank” ranked No. 1 in the hour in Total Viewers (4.1 million) and Adults 18-49 (0.9/4), dominating its repeat unscripted competition on NBC (“America’s Got Talent” = 3.1 million and 0.6/3) and Fox (“Masterchef” = 1.7 million and 0.5/2).

·         In the 9 o’clock hour, ABC’s “What Would You Do?” was the No. 1 program in Adults 18-49 (0.9/4) and Adults 25-54 (1.2/4), tying as Friday’s No. 1 TV show with young adults.

 

Saturday

“Boston EMS” (10:00-11:00 p.m. – 2.5 million and 0.5/2 in AD18-49):

ABC’s “Boston EMS” soared week to week by 14% in Total Viewers (2.5 million vs. 2.1 million), 25% in Adults 18-49 (0.5/2 vs. 0.4/2) and 17% in Adults 25-54 (0.7/3 vs. 0.6/2).

 

Sunday

“Bachelor in Paradise” (8:00-10:01 p.m. – 4.0 million and 1.3/5 in AD18-49):

Opposite original competition from a golf-led CBS’ “Big Brother,” Fox’s “2015 Teen Choice Awards” and NBC’s Ed Sheeran concert special, ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise” was up for the 2nd straight Sunday in Total Viewers (+5% – 4.0 million vs. 3.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (+8% – 1.3/5 vs. 1.2/4) hitting a high on the night. The ABC unscripted series shot up 63% over its Adult 18-49 lead-in at 8:00 p.m. and built from its first hour to its second hour (+8%) to rank No. 1 from 9:00-10:00 p.m. In addition, the show was No. 1 in its 2-hour slot with Adults 18-34 and across all key Women demos (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54).

 

·         “Bachelor in Paradise” once again improved its 2-hour time period by double digits year to year for ABC, spiking 63% in Adults 18-49 from the year-ago night with original programming (“Wipeout”/”Rising Star” = 0.8/3 on 8/17/14).

·         After 3 days of TV playback, last Sunday’s telecast of “Bachelor in Paradise” grew to a 1.8 rating among Adults 18-49 (from a 1.2 rating in L+SD), topping its week-earlier premiere by 13%. The 50% jump for “Bachelor in Paradise” matches the largest L+3 playback increase for any unscripted broadcast series telecast so far this summer.

 

“Save My Life: Boston Trauma” (10:00-11:00 p.m. – 3.3 million and 0.7/2 in AD18-49):

In the 10 o’clock hour, ABC’s “Save My Life: Boston Trauma” grew week to week in Total Viewers (+3% – 3.3 million vs. 3.2 million), Adults 18-49 (+17% – 0.7/2 vs. 0.6/2) and Adults 25-54 (+13% – 0.9/3 vs. 0.8/2).
