College Football: ESPN to Showcase Maroon 5, Florida Georgia Line & Multiplatinum Columbia Records Artists including Grammy Winner Pharrell Williams

ESPN’s 2014 college football game telecasts will showcase the music of Maroon 5, Florida Georgia Line and 17 established and acclaimed breakthrough acts from Columbia Records, including Pharrell Williams, Iggy Azalea, T.I., Rita Ora, Jack White and more.
Maroon Five Exclusively on ABC Saturday Night Football
Maroon 5’s “It Was Always You” will be the featured song on every Saturday Night Football Presented by Windowstelecast this season (Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC). “It Was Always You” – from the Grammy Award-winning band’s much-anticipated new album, V, which is set to be released on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 on 222 Records/Interscope Records – will be the featured track each week and used throughout the coverage, including highlight packages, and coming in from, and out of, commercial breaks.
Maroon 5 and ESPN will also collaborate on a video of the song for exclusive use on Saturday Night Football. The video will be a montage of the band performing the song with relevant college football highlights pertaining to each week’s matchup. Saturday Night Football will kickoff August 30 at 8 p.m. with defending national champion No. 1 Florida State vs. Oklahoma State in the Cowboys Classic from Arlington, Texas.
“Anything Goes” on Friday Nights with Florida Georgia Line
The new Florida Georgia Line single “Anything Goes” will be the exclusive song for every ESPN Friday night telecast this season. “Anything Goes” – from the award-winning band’s new album “Anything Goes” which will be released on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014 on Republic Nashville – will be featured in the telecast open and throughout the coverage.

Seventeen Trailblazing Columbia Records Artists Showcased Throughout the Season
Groundbreaking music from 17 of Columbia Records’ most exciting artists will be featured throughout ESPN’s extensive college football coverage this season. Artists include multiplatinum award winners such as Pharrell Williams, Jack White, T.I. featuring Iggy Azalea, and epic Irish band The Script, among others. Twenty songs highlighting the best of Columbia’s diverse roster will be incorporated during game and studio telecasts, including as the networks go to and return from breaks, in highlight montages and for promotions of upcoming programs and show segments across ESPN, ABC, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS and ESPN3.
