FOX NEWS MOST WATCHED FERGUSON COVERAGE ON TUESDAY NIGHT

 

On Tuesday, August 19th FOX News Channel (FNC) was the most-watched cable news channel for live coverage of the Ferguson case in both Total Viewers and adults 25-54 from 8PM until 1AM/ET, the key primetime and late night hours of coverage, averaging 1.8 million viewers and and 468,000 adults 25-54. FNC’s ratings grew from Monday night, rising 14% percent in adults 25-54 and up 3 percent in Total Viewers.

CNN and MSNBC’s ratings declined from Monday night. CNN fell 9 percent in both viewers and adults 25-54 and MSNBC was down double-digits in both categories.

FNC: 1,832,000 total viewers (468,000 in A25-54)

CNN: 1,012,000 total viewers (458,000 in A25-54)

MSNBC: 674,000 total viewers (180,000 in A25-54)
