FOX News Channel #1 in Prime Time In Basic Cable
For the week of January 27 to February 2, FOX News Channel was the number 1 cable network in primetime in total viewers, with an average of 2.3 million viewers, for its most watched week since its new primetime lineup premiered on October 7. It was the network’s highest-rated week in nearly 10 months, since April 15, 2013, the week of the Boston Marathon Bombing, according to Nielsen data. 
In total day, FNC ranked fourth with 1.2 million viewers and  delivered its most watched week since the week of May 13, 2013.
FOX News outperformed its cable news competitors by huge margins. In prime, MSNBC ranked 21st with 894,000 viewers and CNN was 29th with 608,000 viewers. In total day, MSNBC ranked 26th with 464,00 viewers and CNN ranked 32nd with 353,000 viewers .
Additionally, The State of the Union on FNC from 9:14-10:20p on Tuesday, January 28 marked the top 5 highest-rated telecast for the week with 4,719,000  viewers according to Nielsen.
