PREMIER LEAGUE MATCHES THIS SATURDAY ON NBC UNIVERSO
MIAMI – Feb.20, 2015 – NBC UNIVERSO, the modern general entertainment cable channel for Latinos continues its coverage of the 2014/2015 season of the Premier League with two top matchups this Saturday. The action commences Sat., Feb. 21, with Chelsea vs Burnley, at 9:55 a.m. ET / 6:55 a.m. PT; followed by Manchester City vs. Newcastle United, at 12:25 p.m. ET / 9:25 a.m. PT.
NBC UNIVERSO continues to provide unprecedented coverage across multiple platforms which include streaming through select pay-TV providers and on Video on Demand (VOD).
Chelsea maintains a stronghold at the top of the table with 37 points, 7 more than second place defending league champion Manchester City. The Blues most recently beat Everton 1-0, their fifth consecutive undefeated match in Premier League play. Burnley, losers of 3 of their last 4 Premier League encounters, need to find ways to continue to feed the football to striker Danny Ings who has netted five goals in his last six Premier League encounters.
Second place Manchester City looks for Yaya Toure to extend a streak that has seen him score five goals in his last six Premier League matchups against Newcastle United. The Magpies arrive at Ethiad Stadium still stuck in a middle of the table crunch with 32 points and hoping to reverse bad fortunes against Manchester City which has seen them held scoreless against The Citizens in their last four Premier League encounters.
Legendary commentator Andres Cantor and former Mexican National Team player Manuel Sol will narrate all the action of both matches.
