CBS SPORTS BEGINS 2014 NFL SEASON WITH WEEKEND GAMES

 

THE NFL ON CBS Preseason Schedule Kicks Off with Green Bay Packers Hosting Oakland Raiders Live in Prime Time on Friday, August 22

 

New Orleans Saints Take On Indianapolis Colts for THE NFL ON CBS’s Second Preseason Game Following Night on August 23 on CBS Television Network

 

The CBS Television Network is scheduled to begin its 55th year broadcasting the NFL with two preseason games during the 2014 season.

 

The preseason schedule for THE NFL ON CBS begins on Friday, Aug. 22 (8:00 PM, ET) when the Green Bay Packers host the Oakland Raiders, live in prime time on the CBS Television Network.  CBS Sports’ lead announce team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, along with Tracy Wolfson reporting, call the action from Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisc.  Lance Barrow is the coordinating producer and lead game producer and Mike Arnold is the lead game director.

 

THE NFL ON CBS will conclude its two-game preseason schedule the following night when the New Orleans Saints take on the Indianapolis Colts live in prime time on Saturday, Aug. 23 (8:00 PM, ET).  CBS Sports’ Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts, along with Jenny Dell reporting, call the action from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.  Mark Wolff produces and Bob Fishman directs.
