NEW YORK – July 25, 2012 –, the online home for America’s favorite morning program, announced that Olympic Gold Medalist Shawn Johnson will be the first-ever Special Correspondent. Johnson will share her unique perspective on the London Games, engaging the online audience and providing behind-the-scenes reporting for In 2008, Johnson won both gold and silver medals in the Olympics Women’s Gymnastics competitions and also won the hearts of many Americans.
