Blowout

via press release:

Five years after the worst oil spill in U.S. history, CNN’s Senior Investigative Correspondent Drew Griffin returns to the Gulf of Mexico to explore the impact of the Deepwater Horizon spill on the people, the economy and the environment of the Gulf Coast.

Here, Griffin catches up with people for whom the spill is not a distant memory, including families of the men who died while on the Deepwater Horizon rig, the communities who are still struggling in the aftermath, and the businesses still uncertain about their futures. Environmentalist and ocean conservationist Philippe Cousteau will also join Griffin in the Gulf, and dive in the same waters he dove into five years earlier.

During the one-hour CNN Special Report, viewers will also hear directly from BP about their efforts to clean up the Gulf of Mexico.

Blowout: The Gulf Oil Disaster airs Tuesday, April 14th at 9pET/PT on CNN.
