After eight weeks of the 2011-12 TV season (ending 11/13/11), Fox moved ahead to take the season-to-date lead among adults 18-49 with a 3.4 average rating (up 17% vs. last season). CBS is in second place with a 3.4 adults 18-49 ratings average (up 3% vs. last season). ABC is third with a 2.8 rating (even with last season). NBC is fourth with a 2.6 rating (down 7%). Univision is in fifth with a 1.5 rating average (down 6%). CW is sixth with a 1.0 rating average (down 17%).

With total viewership, CBS is comfortably leading  averaging 12.97 million viewers. ABC is second with 9.90m, followed by FOX with 9.87m, NBC with 7.31m, Univision with 3.63m and CW with 2.14 million.

Note that these season to date ratings averages are “Most Current” ratings which is a combination of Live + 7 Day DVR viewing for weeks more than 2 weeks ago and Live + Same Day DVR viewing for the immediately preceding 2 weeks.
