Jersey Shore had the top two most viewed cable telecasts of the week and if you throw in the Thursday after show it had three of the top ten. No surprise MTV now has renewed it for a fourth season.
Two episodes of Pawn Stars last Monday pulled big numbers for History, which also placed American Pickers in the top ten. The Game was down from its premiere, but still strong for BET with 5.9 million viewers and the fifth most-watched show on cable for the week.
Of the USA network scripted returns/premieres only Royal Pains made the top 25 (#13) with 4.4 million viewers. The premiere of Fairly Legal was #30 with 3.88 million and the return of White Collar was #32 with 3.8 million. Though with the all-important adults 18-49 demographic, White Collar led both Royal Pains and Fairly Legal.
