Jersey Shore was back on top of the cable world easily taking the most-viewed cable program of the week title with 7.7 million viewers. WWE Raw took the second and third spots with NCIS and SpongeBob rounding out the top five.
Impressively, the NCIS that ranked fourth for the week with over 5 million viewers went up against the Academy Awards Red Carpet coverage plus the opening half hour of the actual awards show. The Knicks/Heat game, which also went up against the Oscars for most of its telecast was the week’s top sports program (excluding WWE Raw) with 4.2 million viewers.
