With baseball’s postseason in full swing sports dominated this week’s top 25, pushing many fan favorites out of the list.
The Monday Night Football game between the Dolphins and Patriots topped all viewing for the week with nearly 14 million (13.97 million) viewers. That was down from the prior week’s Packers/Bears game that scored 17.45 million, but more than enough to easily come out on top for the week. Look for Vikings/Jets game to come out on top in next week’s list with much higher numbers.
Eight major league playoff games made the list this week led by game one of the Yankees-Twins series with 6.91 million viewers. All of the games from Yankees-Twins, Reds-Phillies and Giants-Braves played during the week made the list, but none of the Rangers-Rays games made the list (at least in part because they didn’t play a single game in primetime). But here are the numbers for Rangers-Rays:
Rangers-Rays Gm 3, 5pm Saturday Oct. 9: 3.51 million
Rangers-Rays Gm 2, 2:30p, Thursday Oct 7: 2.42 million.
Rangers-Rays Gm 1, 1:29p, Weds Oct 6: 2.24 million
Jersey Shore was third for the week with 5.35 million viewers.

During the week Travis usually posts selected cable results for each weekday, usually late in the afternoon on the east coast (and Friday night data isn’t posted until Monday) and he posts the links to that info on his Twitter account to the info on Marc Berman’s PI Forums.
