In the absence of awards shows and big sporting events, Fox swept every viewership category we track and absolutely beatdown its broadcast competition in the adult demos for the week of February 23 – March 1, 2009, the 23nd week of the 2008-9 season.

Fox’s average viewership of 11.84 million just edged second place CBS by 80,000 average viewers, but in the demos it was embarrasing for the rest of the competition. For demo adults 18-49 it was Fox way over CBS by 5.43 million to 3.34 million. It is noteworthy that CBS, which some see as entirely viewed by geriatrics, has been far more competitive in the 18-49 demo this season.

Fox won demo adults 25-54 over CBS by 5.99 million to 4.31 million viewers. In adults 18-34, is was Fox with 2.29 million, again way above second place ABC with 1.40 million. Univision managed a fourth place in adults 18-34 for the week beating CBS.

Tiny Network Smackdown Update! This week it way MyNet winning for average viewers, while the CW won for adults 18-49 and 18-34, and the two nets tied for adults 25-54
