All New Episode Features Michelle Hall from Newnan, Georgia

New York – August 24, 2010 – Depression and debt lead to death in an all new one-hour episode of Oxygen’s “Snapped,” premiering Sunday, August 29 at 10PM ET/PT. Each chilling installment offers gritty details, interviews and a deeper look into the minds of the women who snapped.

After reuniting with her high school sweetheart, Michelle Hall of Newnan, Georgia believes that her third marriage will be the one to last. Building their dream home to accommodate their larger family brings together Michelle and her new husband, Britt, but their lives still carry the baggage of the past. Friction from both of their previous marriages spills into their own relationship and the tension drives their family apart. When an argument at a BBQ escalates, the couple’s debate turns physical and has life-changing consequences. A distressing call from Michelle to 911 leads the police to believe that Britt has taken his own life, however forensic evidence and a testimony from the couple’s eight year old daughter results in a different conclusion. Will Michelle’s original story hold up in court? Or will the police’s evidence continue to find holes in this twisted case?

“Snapped” features everyday average moms, wives and girlfriends who are accused of committing murder. Did they really do it? And if so, why? Was it a cheating spouse, years of constant abuse or that dirty dish in the sink? Whatever the situation, the women share a common bond–they all allegedly SNAPPED!

For the “Snapped” super fan has all new photos, bonus videos and message boards for fans to chat and discuss each episode.
