New York – September 7, 2010 – A weary widow may be the missing link in an all new one-hour episode of Oxygen’s “Snapped,” premiering Sunday, September 12 at 10PM ET/PT. Each chilling installment offers gritty details, interviews and a deeper look into the minds of the women who snapped.

When tragedy strikes twice, the coincidences lead to questions. Stacey Castor, of Syracuse, New York, is a grieving widow after her first husband’s sudden death. Surviving as a single mother is an uphill battle until she meets David Castor. With a thriving business and steady values, David is able to provide the love and support Stacey needs. When the couple celebrates their second wedding anniversary, a weekend of celebration turns into a tragic event. After an intense fight, David locks himself in their bedroom causing Stacey to call the police. Breaking down the door, the police discover David dead and the scene leads them to believe it’s a suicide. A more thorough investigation results in shocking conclusions and a possible connection between David and Stacey’s first husband’s deaths comes to light.

“Snapped” features everyday average moms, wives and girlfriends who are accused of committing murder. Did they really do it? And if so, why? Was it a cheating spouse, years of constant abuse or that dirty dish in the sink? Whatever the situation, the women share a common bond–they all allegedly SNAPPED!

For the “Snapped” super fan has all new photos, bonus videos and message boards for fans to chat and discuss each episode.
