Scandal April 16 2015

Tonight, Scandal ends its season. The show was red-hot in the fall, frequently earning over a 3.0 adults 18-49 rating. The show has faded this spring. Last week’s episode earned a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating down from a 2.3 for the prior episode. Scandal historically rises for its finales. Its midseason finale garnered a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating. Last year’s season finale notched a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating. How you think tonight’s episode will fare?

On FOX, Twin Peaks-esque”limited series” Wayward Pines premieres. The show, from director/producer M. Night Shyamalan, was originally supposed to air last season. FOX then planned to hold it for midseason, which has now become a summer series. It might have never seen the light of day had one of its stars, Terrence Howard, not become the lead of FOX’s hottest show in years, Empire. The cast also features Secrets and Lies star Juliette Lewis and Oscar winner Melissa Leo. The series has garnered a lot of positive reviews. Unfortunately, premiering against the finales of both Scandal and The Blacklist is a major competitive disadvantage. Do you think it will beat the odds and get decent ratings? Make your prediction!
