NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” took a hit in its second week, falling two points among adults 18-49 (from a 9.1 rating to a 7.1) and by nearly 4 million viewers (24.37 million to 20.24 million, a 17-percent drop).

But it was still far and away the No. 1 show on TV for the week of Sept. 11-17. Its 18-49 rating was almost three times higher than the second-place finisher, the Emmy Awards (2.5). “SNF” also led the second most-watched show of the week, the Wednesday “America’s Got Talent” (11.59 million), by better than 8.6 million viewers.
