Things stayed mostly status quo in the broadcast top 25 and network rankings for the week of Oct. 1.

NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” broadcast held onto the top spots in both the adults 18-49 and total viewers measures with a 6.0 rating and 18.59 million viewers. FOX’s “Thursday Night Football” broadcast (4.4, 13.27 million) came second in both measures as well, while “This is Us” was the highest-rated, non-sports broadcast of the week with a 2.4. “Big Bang Theory” (2.2) was the second highest-rated again, followed by “The Voice” (2.1, 1.8) and “Young Sheldon” (1.8).

In the network standings, NBC and FOX tied for first place in the 18-49 demo with matching 1.8 averages, while ABC (0.9) and CBS (0.9) tied for third. Additionally, NBC dethroned CBS as the week’s most-watched network (7.51 vs. 6.87 million).
